    To fully appreciate Leo Kottke you need to see him perform. Beyond his virtuoso instrumental work and his underrated vocals this album includes some of his improvised banter between songs. He tunes, tells stories and generally rambles with great self-deprecating humor. There are two examples on this album (Combat and Roy Autry). His other great live album is the very early 70s "My Feet are Smiling".

    This is a great album. The banter of "Roy Autrey" followed by "Parade" is great.
