I'm sitting in my home in New Jersey, when a friend on Facebook dropped a Live Ustream link of Eric playing at a festival in my home town of Painesville, Ohio. I flipped the concert over to my TV and stereo and kicked back and listened to some of the most talented playing and singing I've heard in a long time. So I popped on iTunes bought an album to give Eric and his band my support and a "hug". Thanks man an awesome show.

I absolutely love this album. I grew up with this type of music in the South and I can't get enough of it. It reminds me of summer and being with my family having a cookout. It puts me in a good mood everytime I listen to it.

I first heard Eric on a local radio station that actually plays "real" music and I was hooked at once. I bought the album without previewing a song and was not disappointed. The songs are upbeat, lively and remind me of New Orleans. Great instrumental in "Raw Doggin' " -- love the sax throughout this song and the entire album actually. Favs are "Turnin' It Out," "Dirty Bird" and "I Can Get Off on You" -- but the entire album is worth the $. One of the best albums of the summer. Now if only I can see him live!

Derek Huston's a friend of mine, and he plays a great sax, but Eric Lindell is the real deal. A bandleader and musician that makes you wish you followed your heart into music like he did. Even if you don't know any of his tunes when you get there, you remember them all when you leave. What more can you say? Buy this album, buy his other ones, and buy them for friends as gifts -- and go see Eric live every chance you get. You won't regret it.

To fondly quote Eric himself... "We'll take it!" - I've been following Eric's career as a fan, and acquaintance for years and years now, and if there was ever a guy who deserves to have his music heard far and wide, it's Eric Lindell. He doesn't just write and play music, he lives it, and he shares it, and is one heck of a good guy. BUY THIS!

BBQ jam! This one by far is the tightest and most fun of the last three. Just saw him in VA at a tiny venue and he tore the roof off. Old folks and young couldn't sit still. Feel fortunate that we saw him now since he is certainly destined for bigger things. Also a class act taking time to shake hands and say hi. Keep 'em coming Eric!!!

I bought some tunes from Eric and then thru "Songs you Might Like," I found Kirk Duncan. Also awesome. Realized he was in my geographical area and saw him live. Incredible. Both along the lines of Marc Broussard. Fantastic!
  • Solid Offering

In 2004 we saw him at Jazz Fest, and have been huge fans since that day. This release has long time favorite Dirty Bird, and entire CD is a must buy. Do yourself a favor, buy this, then as another reviewer has said, go see him live. You will not regret either.
