I remember seeing these guys at Gatsbys American Dream's "Land of Lost Monsters" release a long time ago, back when they were working on Our Worlds Divorce, and since then they've matured, but there's almost a devolution going on with their songs compared with their self-titled (which was brilliant). I hope they keep making music because they're all great guys. I just hope they find that spark that made them original in the beginning. Oh, and they ruined My Beautiful Rescue should've left it alone.

I just heard about them yesterday, and the only song I've heard is Selfish. But I really like how the rest of these songs sound! I am excited to get into this brilliant sounding band.

Sand In Your Shoes is one of the most gorgeous songs I have heard in a really long time. I was at the show at El Corazon where he first played this song and I immediately fell in love. I love that This Providence is able to pull off beautiful acoustic songs while still being able to totally rock others. If you just the chance you should definitely see them live, I believe their even better then.
  • One of my favorite albums!

I love This Providence. I bought the whole album when it came out, and I still listen to it. I love almost every song on it, and I usually like less than half of an album of every album I buy, so this is good. I've loved This Providence for over a year now and I'm glad I found them. I love David, Dan, Andy and Gavin :). They better have another album soon!

This Providence has been my #1 faovirte band for years now and they NEVER disappoint me. 'Who Are You Now?' is one of the only albums EVER that I can listen to all the way through without having to skip over any songs, the whole thing is pure genious. Sure As Hell- A very slow song, but the lyrics are incredible. (7/10) Letdown- Very upbeat. it WILL get stuck in your head, but you'll love every minute of it. (: (8/10) Waste Myself- 'Oh we could lie beneath the stars or watch a thousand passing cars from the roof of this prison yeahhh, yeah' I LOVE this song! I always have it on repeat. (10/10) This Is the Real Thing- Not my favorite song by them, but the guitar sounds good. (: (6/10) Keeping On Without You- I listen to this song when I'm in a bad mood, it's one of the best songs I've ever heard. <3 (10/10) Squeaking Wheels and White Light- The vocals are great on this song! It's a good song to sing along to. (9/10) My Beautiful Rescue (Renovated)- I prefer the origional 'My Beautiful Rescue', but it's not bad. (: (7/10) That Girl's a Trick- This song sounds AMAZING live! It's a good one to dance around to :D (10/10) Selfish- This reminds me of old school This Providence for some reason, I love it! (8/10) Chasing the Wind- I fell in love with this song when I first heard it. It's really soft and inspirational. (10/10) Playing the Villain- Just like 'That Girl's a Trick', this song sound awesome live! (9/10) Sand in Your Shoes- One of my favoirite songs ever by This Providence. Such a cute little love song. (: (10/10) Somebody to Talk To- A little too repetative, but it's still a great song. (7/10) Hopeless- Honestly.. I just don't like this song. The ONLY song I have a problem with, but it's just a bonus song. (3/10) The World Is a Stage, But the Play is Badly Cast- I LOVE the sound of Dan's voice on this! I listen to this a lot even though it only has one lyric. I really wish it was longer! (9/10) Over all, amazing album. I bought two! :p
