I dont know what has happenned to rock n roll over the last decade. This band rekindles feelings i felt the first time I heard the Crowes. In the immortal words of the late Robert Palmer "I continue to believe in the transformative powers of Rock 'n Roll". Keep rockin all you freaks.

  • Most Amazing Band

I'm very selective in the music I pick - but the ones I pick I generally fall in love with. This is the most amazing band I've heard in a while. I appreciate musicians - there are some bands like Band of Heathens - who are terrific. But most of the time the vocals are just a little lacking for my taste - I need that strong vocal to go with the rock and the meaningful lyrics. It's tough to find - Chris Knight, WE Whitmore, Hayes Carll, Ryan Bingham are a few. Their music (and vocals) are different - but they have "it". Ditto for this band. The vocals, writing and the diversity from song to song blew me away. There is something very special about this band.

I saw these guys play live at the famous Gruene Hall in my home state of Texas, which was the first time I had ever heard of them. Hands down, they blew me away. They were an opening band, but I enjoyed them more than the featured artist, Chris Knight. Zach Williams has a soulful, reminiscent voice with a powerful resonance. The riffs and rhythms are very nostalgic...almost a carbon copy of the great names like Stevie Ray Vaughan and LS. I am now crazy about this band and have recommended all my friends to check them out!

These guys are simply a great rock band, and Electric Revival is an amazing debut album. Williams' voice is soulful and packs plenty of power, and the writing is spot-on. A definite must-buy, especially for those who've lost their faith in rock music lately.
