I actually saw Quiet Company for the first time in San Marcos at a small concert. I had been going to see This Will Destroy You, but little did I know I would be finding a band to add to my favorites. At first, the only songs I really liked were the first three, other than those and On Modern Men, the rest of the album didn't really get much playtime. That all changed when I went to see them again at Emo's in Austin. They played a hell of a show, and are some of the most energetic and friendly people I've ever seen perform. It was such a good performance that I decided to give the rest of the album a listen, and let me tell you, had I known how good it was I would have gladly paid them 2x it's cost.
