The album will not download as an album but ends up split up and miscoded.

This is an amazing album. I'd review it, but ultimately, would be mimicking the beautifully written ITunes editors notes.

Heavily inspired by the music of the 1960's (The Kinks, The Beach Boys, the Beatles), "Oh, Inverted World" not only hearkens back to those glory days of rock, but it even expands on them. This is not just another album hoping to imitate the reverb tones of the era. James Mercer's songwriting is nearly flawless, and in his use of complicated vocabulary, he reveals an interesting spin on often commonplace notions. The process of decoding his verbose, seemingly extraneous lyrics is a challenge, and if, somehow, the music is not enough to hold your interest, the task of deciphering his poetics may do just that.

One of the greatest. every song flowed on to the next so perfectly. Your Algebra is my favorite song. It's awesome and creepy. Best combo. It compliments the songs after and before it and all, but it will also give you chills when it's over. It's the type of song you'd hum if you were a spy or a monk hiking through the forest. Most interesting song on the album. And the album is all great, it comes in with Caring is Creepy, then it goes out with another great song, Past and Pending.

This album still by far ranks as The Shins' number one. This trumps every other album and is far superior to their new stuff. This album still remains as one of the greatest albums, not only by The Shins, but of the decade.
