I love this CD, but for some reason my computer spits the disc out whenever I put it in. Can anyone help me out?

I haven't downloaded this or any full HHH album yet, but JUST from the previews I can tell this one has so much more going on than their latest, or even the great "Make up the Breakdown" Each track seems to have its own style and there aren't enough songs to get repetitive. I just convinced myself to buy it so I'm going to now.

wow. this is amazing... steve bays' debut in HHH. i have Scenes one through Thirteen and it is a STRANGE album. it wasnt like the HHH you know now... they were those weird hardcore bands that screamed their lungs out. i did like "the case that they gave me" and "spelling live backwards" though. I miss the funky synth-organ from that album... i think that Steve bays is so much better than Matt Marnik. And hey, dont EVER diss elevator and knock knock knock... they are awesome albums. Knock knock knock is a large step on the path of popularity. i love the voicing of steve bays compared to the old marnik, so this album gets my thumbs up. my favorite song on this album is Have a Good Sleep.
  • This album is the reason to love em.

Every song is that great and once again so catchy. With such original music you'd be crazy not to enjoy this album. Plus you get hear HHH in the early years of Steve singing. Just beautiful.

  • A Great Transition From Old HHH to New HHH

Although not as well known or as well acclaimed as Hot Hot Heat's Makeup The Breakdown, Knock Knock Knock is one of their most revolutionary albums. Before Knock Knock Knock, Hot Hot Heat had the potential to create great music. However, their garage pop style and strangely suitable lyrics were held back by lack of production resources. In 2000, Steve Bays replaced Matt Marnik's vocals and helped to create this first album of powerful lyrics combined with an upbeat indie rock feel. In a sense, this is HHH's first album because it combines their old beats with new vocals and creates a never before heard style. Released right after Knock Knock Knock and of the same style was their greatest album, Makeup The Breakdown. However, HHH's most recent album, Elevator, lacks the inspiration and emotion of their older albums and emerges as a mainstream record.
