This album is a classic. I am a huge phish fan but if you aren't sure what phish is all about or just want to see what all the "Phish Heads" see in this band this the album to get! Just a powerful and beautiful display of great musical perfection.

Listen to this entire album!!!!! Not one song from Farmhouse can be considered anything less than feel-good easy listening, andI imagine at least one song from the album (probably a different song for everybody) will be an unforgettable track! Enjoy!!

For those of us who like alot of what we've heard from Phish , but weren't totally on board with all the eccentricities in lyrics and instrumental ramblings go along with the band, we have Farmhouse. Consistently excellent from start to finish, it's a great collection of songs with actually (gasp!) memorable lyrics and intricate, precise playing. Ranging between the playful and bouyant to the intimate and serene, this is Phish using the studio setting to its fullest advantage. The whole album is worthy of downloading.

I'm up and down on Phish in general. Their endless jams lose my interest on their live CDs, and the stupid lyrics turn me off on other songs. This CD though is the exception. Great songs, unbelieveable playing by the band (Trey's playing is as clean and crisp as I've ever heard), and their most complete album to date. If you have similar issues as me with Phish, try this album. You very well may love it like I do.

went a long time without listening to phish. this album transcends modern rock/jam band genre. live long enough and everything will be alright.

The quasi-cover title track is worth the coin.

This was one of (possibly the most) commercial Phish album to date, and its single "Heavy Things" received more radio play than probably any Phish song ever. While Heavy Things is still a nice song (and has been sounding great live since they returned in 2009), this album is so, so, so much more. Some of Phish's BEST live songs are recorded here, and sound great here too - look to Twist, Bug, Back on the Train, Gottaa Jibboo, Piper, Sand and First Tube to knock your socks off. Piper is probably my favorite Phish song.

Although Phish is not known as much for their studio albums, as they are for their live performances, I believe that this is one of their best studio albums. This album includes the beautiful song "Dirt", which sounds very clean in it's studio recording. From Farmhouse to First Tube all the tracks on this album are great! Definitely one of the Phish studio albums that you are going to want to have along with your live Phish collection.
