That's all I can say is Wow!... Ok I can say more. I liked the Stray Cats back in the 80's but wasn't a big fan. Then when Brian Setzer went solo and began his Swing Style, I wasn't too interested. After some listening on early itunes and with my first ipod purchase, I bought The Dirty Boogie CD. I liked it quite a bit and Brian Setzer's style and sound grew on me. I haven't listened to much else from him since until now. I must say that with this album Brian Setzer has come a long way. His voice is excellent and his music is just plain awesome. He has really refined his musical style. I have since purchased many of his Albums from itunes such as 13, Red Hot and Live and Christmas Rocks. Songs From Lonely Avenue is my favorite album overall. Brian Setzer is a true musician and is so much better than much of the current Pop Stars etc. He sure deserves more recognition and accolades, but Brian seems to be having a great time doing what he loves. Great music. Thank you Brian Setzer!

The Highly Talented Brain Setzer returns with an all around great album. Songwriting and performance are top rated as always. I do miss the Setzer of old and though the album is great, I wouldn't have minded a few more that really get you going. You must add this one to your collection.

For those who have had the pleasure of seeing Brian Setzer live you understand the complexity and soul in each and every one of his songs and solos. You would also know that Setzer struts across the stage in creepers (raised rockabilly shoes), tight flame decorated leather pants, a carefree smile, and straycat strut while he plays solos more complicated than others have dreamed of with ease. Each and every album comtinues to grow bigger and better, wether he is solo, back with the straycats, or with the orchestra Setzer knows how to play and continues to prove it to the world.
