I've known this family band for a really long time. The Dupree's are an honest christian family with extremely talented kids! These guys aren't capable of anything other than mind-blowingly awesome music!

yeah this was a great EP. and it reminded me of room noises more than anything (my favorite album. EVER) i think that Eisley is off to a great start and i'm excited for their LP coming out soon.
  • A Special Kind of Music... Coming back

Since the days of the Laughing City EP, Eisley, the quintet from Tyler Texas has captivated the minds of artistic thinkers with their melodic and fantasy style lyrics. To this day their old music shines like always, and it still shows no trouble acquiring new listeners. Unfortunately, following their first full length album Room Noises, their second full length album Combinations brough a darker tone to their once bright and playful lyrics. Combinations (although very good in its own realm) had very well left many a fan yearning for the Eisley that started it all. Now however, having listened to their new EP Fire Kite, it seems the band has recovered a bit of what used to be the bright and interesting tone they started with, the special kind of music meant for us. It shows the band has been evolving musically, with refined melodies and fluid choruses. Eisley are artists, it may take a bit of time to grow into the new things they create. For now we wish them much success and patiently await their third full length album.

and with the Fire Kite EP I can only love them more. This band never disappoints and this EP proves it. Their music is always changing but they manage to keep their "sound". This extremely talented band deserves your support and attention. Just listen and then you'll understand.

...and deeper for this band. This ep couldn't have come out at a better time for me. The Dupree girls have nailed it again. I'm gonna be listening to this for awhile...a long while. Their music, in a way, is my redeemer. Thanks for this one you guys! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

Eisley continues to mature, but doesn't lose the sense of who they are. Stacy Dupree's vocal ability continues to grow and is on full display in Ambulance. Another fully solid effort.

It's been so long and Eisley has proven that they havent lost their touch at all! I'm so excited to see that they're back with music that's both mysterious and lovely. I cant wait to hear the rest of the songs and hopefully catch a show or two

i love eisley. room noises, combinations, and all of their ep's have beautiful, inspiring music. i love ambulance and the valley, but away we go sounds a bit chipmunkish :) but i don't think that's eisley's fault. i love this band. i love their beautiful harmonies, imaginative lyrics, great tunes, and amazing sound. i can't wait to see them at emo's in austin, tx in november!
