I thought it strange concept to have a Phish-Reggae tribute in the first place. It seems to me Phish hasn't been around enough to get a tribute album. I've heard Bob Dylan, Beatles, Pink Floyd covers that sound great. But they are all major icons of rock that have influenced the reggae artists covering the music anyway. Seems like some producer thought this a great idea and paid the artists enough (reggae artists will cover just about anything :-) to do this, but they really don't sound very into it. The instrumentals sound good enought but overall the songs have a cheezy over produced vibe... with the singers singing meaningless Phish lyrics trying to sound serious. The original Phish songs sound way better... and I'm a huge reggae fan.

Never new anything about Phish until I heard this album, now I am a fan. They are some true reggae legends on this album and some up and coming artists but they all do this album justice. LOVE IT.

Like others may have, I stepped into this skeptical, but was blown away after hearing it. I don't think any true phish phan or reggae head will be disappointed. the bass is so phat that it would even make Gordo do a double take. every time i listen, i find another gem. One Love.

This a a great album. Even if you are not a fan of Phish, it's a fantastic reggae album, combining old school reggae and dub stylings classic Phish hooks and jams. From start to finish the album takes you on a great Journey from the back roads of Vermont to the dance hall's of Kingston. Stand outs include Back on the Train - Toots sounding as good as ever. As soaring rendition of Free An exploratory Slave to the Traffic Light Enjoy the Journey.

first the boys reuniting, then festival 8, NYE miami, and now "Dub like an Antelope." This record is the creamy fluffy topping on a year that I can only describe as inspirational. Phish is back with a vengeance and this record in my opinion cements them as some of the greatest writers in the game. how cool is it, that these tunes work perfect as a reggae tunes. I know the haters are gonna step up in numbers, and declare sacrilege to the “holy” works of our band. But i want to be the first to step up and declare this album a beautifully done work of art that pays respect in every aspect to Phish. Sometimes even the haters got admit when something works perfectly.

Although I have never really listened to Phish before I have been a die hard reggae fan for life, especially Steel Pulse. When I first heard the song Farmhouse, I could not believe it was a cover song, it sounds like something they would have written themselves. As far as the quality of the album and the songs I think this is pure perfection. Bob Andy who is a reggae legend second to none, has has a 40 year career, and I have never heard him sound so fresh and pure. The song "Waste" is a masterpiece and I can only credit the songwriter for creating such a touching song, but Bob's delivery is moving. I know mostly Phish fans will buying this record, but I hope you realize that you are getting a taste of reggae finest vintage. Blessed Love my bredren and sistren,
