Fresh! Like the track Indian Summer. Great Chill Music. Nothing beats Buddha Bar, but this comes close. Worth adding to your Trance/Chill collection.

This is the most amazing album I have heard in a very long time. If you are a Trance aficionado this defines what Trance should be, and now can be. The Mantra Bros have combined the electronic medium with old world mastery of the ancient instruments of the East. They created a hard driving beat combined with intricate patterns that literally capture your subconscious mind, reduce stress, and eliminate any negative thoughts you might be experiencing at that moment. The arrangements, rhythms and melody line literally put you into a trance! Every time I listen to each track, I hear something new. I listen to this album before I go to sleep, and it amazingly puts me at ease, and allows me to transition to a deeper than normal sleep. Don't ask me why or how, but it does. In the world of trance, this can truly be called a work of art. Who are the Mantra Bros, when are they going to be playing, and how do I get tickets. Wow! There are two tracks on this album, each track is 30 minutes in duration, which is amazing unto itself. They allowed themselves plenty of time to arrange their magic, manipulate you mind, and take you on a journey that you never expected. If you like Buddha Bar (which I truly enjoy), this is the next level of consciousness, or should I say unconsciousness. I can't get enough of these guys, and hope they make more tracks available! If you check my reviews, you will notice this is my first one. There are many great albums and Artists on iTunes, but few of them have affected me the way this album has. I hope it catches on and the Mantra Bros enjoy the success they deserve. I have now done my little bit to help them by writing this heart felt review. Thank you for reading it, and thanks to iTunes for giving me the opportunity to express my opinion.

I spend most of my time on iTunes downloading songs for my kids. Thought it was time to buy something for myself. I have always liked Trance, but it drives my wife nuts! Started going through the various Trance Albums and came across this one. There are no words to describe it. You must listen to this album with a great pair of headphones or at the very least an ipod. On big speakers you will miss all the of underlying sounds and instruments. It grows on you, and literally blocks your thoughts about anything else except what you are listening to (probably why they call it Trance). If you like Buddha Bar, then this is the next level of creativity. The combination of eastern instruments with a European hard driving beat creates a synergy that you will need to experience for yourself. It is a gradual build up that slowly but surely reaches a crescendo during the 30 minutes trip through each track. Yes, each track is 30 minutes, and there are two tracks on the album, so be prepared to truly trance. How they were able to blend the sounds of the sitar against the electronic tracks is truly amazing. Downloading this album from iTunes is very convenient, but for bargain hunters, I urge you to shop around first. Especially in these tough economic times.
