This CD and his new release are must haves for any Tejano and Latin music lover. It contains many styles, blends and fusions and even introduced me to Jazz accordion which AJ does very well. I have seen AJ live he sounds as good on CD as on stage. His brother does most of the main vocals and he's great as well! What a combo! The band is full of professional musicians!

This CD is good. I really don't know what this other person is talking about, but A.J. is moving with the times and people like it. It is a different sound and who cares if it is not an original song. I have the original and I believe A.J. does a better job playing this song. Stay Tejano i agree with, but it is o.k. to have that "NEW SOUND" that people are looking for and i KNOW that A.J. has done that. A.J. is the Man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a musician I can really appreciate the album musically, however as a tejano music lover, I feel this dude is certainly a rip off. I really have to stress out also the fact that the song titled "TODO ME GUSTA DE TI", is not an original song. It is a different genre not tejano and AJ did a really poor job with a good song of that particular genre. The fusion stuff is great but, it's been done before by legends of tejano accordion music like Estevan Jordan, Joel Guzman, and Oscar Hernandez. For anybody that appreciates this Fusion and Jazz stuff checkout Oscar Hernandez's album title "Playing with myself". It might be a good idea for AJ to check it out as well...LOL. Overall, I think this dude is ok,nothing extravagant, and should focus more on developing his sound other than trying to fit in. Society is always changing just like all genres of music. Tejano artists that are still around today have sustained themselves by not straying too far away from their roots, which is TEJANO. With that in mind, all I have left to say to AJ and anybody else that is tejano is '' STAY AND KEEP IT TEJANO''.
