I just wanted 2 of the mixes, and didn't want to pay $$11 for em. Went over to AMZN and was able to get them for $.99 a piece

This is a great song. I strongly recommend the Chew Fu remix. I also recommend each of the remixes by Chew Fu for Lady Gaga.
  • Great songs by a great artist, but horrible price......

Some of these remixes are really great. But I only want two. Why is the $1.29 pricing extending to artists that aren't exactly best selling? I love Blake Lewis's music, but really?.....A 1.29 for each song?! Not happenin.

These remixes are nice, pretty unique! Though the LA Riots one makes zero sense to me with this song! But I enjoy the other two a lot. Though I must say, the remixes really take away from the meaning, and the 80's throwback of the song. The song doesn't seem to lend itself to remixing as almost any other song on "Heartbreak on Vinyl" would have (hello why is Binary Love not his new single!?) but, Heartbreak on Vinyl is still one of the best tracks from the album, and I am excited to see how it plays out for him.

Despite the initial disappointment at the LA Riots Vocal Remix of "Heartbreak On Vinyl," this mix pleasantly surprised me. Especially Bimbo Jones did an amazing job with their remixes, and the remixes will probably catch on to the public easily if promoted properly. Their edits really do have the best chance of hitting mainstream. Even the LA Riots remixes are not quite as disappointing as I had thought. Perhaps because I hadn't heard of them before, but their edits are the type that initially takes time to catch on, but really grows on you. I still think "Heartbreak On Vinyl" was less of a "remix-able song" than his first single, "Sad Song," but the single is still excellent. While "Sad Song" was not strikingly amazing in the original, yet quite good in its remixes, his second single "Heartbreak On Vinyl" is quite the opposite. It was song made to be enjoyed in the original since it truly is a very catchy song (in fact, probably the best on his record). All in all, however, Blake Lewis did it again: "Heartbreak On Vinyl" is an excellent collection of good remixes of a fantastic song.
