This was a double album released in late 1981 and in fact, side one of disc one is not live but has five studio tracks. Here In Angola, Pandora, Indian Summer, Delia's Gone and Princess Olivia were recorded at Evergreen Studios in L.A. the Summer of '81. The rest of the album was recorded live at the Roxy in the Spring of '81. It is a great album and is a bargain at 11.99.
  • Year of the Cat - cut short

It's great that the live version of Year of the Cat is available. I've been looking for it for so long, I forgot I was looking for it. Unfortunately, it doesn't include the original intro (when buying just the song anyway) where Stewart leads in with As TIme Goes By before transitioning to the "from a Bogart movie" line. That made the live version. Without it you may as well get the studio version with the better recording quality.

I got this album in a cut file back in the 80's. I always like the Al Stewart tracks, like Year of the cat, so I took a chance on this live album. It is worth it!!!!!
