    This album is a crown jewel of the progressive genre and easily the equal to any Opeth album (or better if you're like me and jazz doesn't fall to your taste). Shin-Ken runs the emotional gammut from serene to hopeful to desperate to hateful. The compositions heard here conjures the image of a series of Japanese paintings: meticulously crafted and complex yet with every melody clear as day. Shin-ken is vocally accomplished as well with miguel and marc's vocals perfectly illustrating every scene. This 6-man group defintely deserves to be more well known. In short: buy!!!
