This is a good reminder of what mass choral music sounded like back in the "good ol' days" (latter part of the 20th century, for this writer). Much has been written of the lack of (four-part) harmony in today's Christian music. While I have nothing against contemporary Christian praise/worship melodies, much of church music today is sung in unison. These are basic, down-to-earth hymns sung in good old-fashioned four-part harmony. For those of us who were lucky enough to have attended BG Crusades, these tunes bring back wonderful memories.
