What a fantastic debut album! I've also been fortunate enough to own this album for a while now and everytime I listen to it I hear something new. It has beautiful orchestration, using some obviously very talented musicians. "Magic" and "Love" (with the amazing ambeR Rubarth) are stand outs for me. The ragtimey (I know that's not actually a word) "Portia" and equally upbeat "E60th &1st" are love letters of sorts to a girl and the city of New York...outstanding! My favorite track, however, is "Your Last Night in Queens." The story of a love for a girl that doesn't feel the same is powerful. A gorgeous melody with moving lyrics! What an impressive first go!!
