These guys started out at Washington High in Fremont. That's the very same High school I go to today! I found this out last Friday, when they came to the school to do a free concert at lunch. They are pretty nice guys. Buy the album, it's pretty awesome!!

I can not wait for the rest of there music to be relased. All of the music sounds great. I hope they go back to some of there original songs that they recored while they were 4 bux and Breakpoint, those would sound so sick rerecorded.

This e.p. proves that there is still hope in the indie music scene from the Bay Area and I the Mighty delivers. Having performed with guitarists Brent and Ian before on two of the tracks on this album years back, it blows me away how these songs sound now and how, even if the shape and overall idea is still there, the combination of each band member's strengths really brings out something special by bending their genre and pushing their limits with creativity. With each listen, I pick up subtle nuances in the music that I hadn't noticed before and makes every listen enjoyable. Essentially, buy this e.p. Coming from someone who played with Brent and Ian before and saw firsthand the genius and love they bring to creating music, I am overjoyed that through all of the ups and downs they've encountered they're finally seeing their music reach its proper audience. Brent's voice is stellar, the guitar work is complex yet drives hard when it needs to, and the rhythm section is fantastic and they shouldn't be forgotten either since their inclusion finally makes I the Mighty whole. Go out, buy this album, and become pleasantly surprised and hungry for more because these guys aren't leaving anytime soon.
