  • Hilarious!

Jackie Kashian has such great timing, hilarious stories, and so much wonderful, little-trodden subject matter. Her word choices, manner of delivery, and bizarre tales are so original, and I've had to stifle my laughter several times to avoid waking my boyfriend with my snorting! Jackie's hysterical, and this CD is well worth getting!
  • A great comedy album, a sharp and smart comedian...

Jackie's an all-around good egg. Where she excels delightfully is in making people laugh. Beautifully observed tales of life among the dorks, dweebs, nerds and geeks, as well as smart, sharp jokes about foibles personal and political. She has a conversational style that makes this album feel like you've got a great, funny new friend, you'll listen to it more than once and enjoy it every time.
  • Worth a listen... again and again

While listening to the album, it sounded like she was starting to wrap things up. "Couldn't be," I thought. Looked at the track listing, and somehow I was on track 15. How did that happen? You enjoy something so much that it just seems to speed by, and leaves you wanting more. I got a kick out of the stories about her husband, their wedding (arrr), and the talk about video games. Big thumbs up for the whole album.

This CD is hilarious!!! Also, if you don't listen to her podcast, The Dork Forest, you're missing out.

Kashian totally hit her stride in this album and made me shoot random liquids and a few solids out of my nose. If you love mid-western humor and dork hilarity, Kashian is for you. Basically if you don't buy the album I'll pity you.

I love both albums. In fact, It's Never Going to be Bread is always the first cd my hubby put on in the car. He recites it now! I love Jackie's delivery, tone, and of course jokes/punchlines. Both of her cd's are so hilarious and I recommend them to all my friends, and you too. -erin (& Michael)

Jackie's comedy is amazing, well crafted and, above all honest. And, yeah, it's effin' funny.
  • an album worn-out by being over played if it was on vinyl...

I don't write many reviews, but this album is worth the effort... if you haven't heard of Jackie Kashian before.... what do you live under a rock? the comic timing and dry wit is spot on... this is something to be listened to over and over... and it is still funny every time...

It's a solid album, but it reuses old material from previous albums. In a perfect world, I would have only bought this album and not Jackie's previous ones, because of the overlap. But I still recommend it.
