WOW Wowie wow. Tesla Boy is FIRE. All of the songs sound fresh and yet sound nostalgic for the 80's. "Make Believe Ballroom" is so sensual and sexy. I wish it wasn't so short (that is my only gripe on the album) :) The other cuts on the album are great too "Dark Street" is brooding and mysterious a la Duran Duran, "Thinking of You" is wistful and interesting. All of the other songs are top notch too.
I highly recommend checking out The Tesla Boy EP as well. Neon Love is great as are the other songs. Oh, and the remixes. Seriously so excited to have stumbled upon Tesla Boy. Keep up the GREAT work!!!!

While his voice is reminiscent of Mark Hollis from Talk Talk, I often find myself not fully understanding or being able to clearly distinct the lyrics. The music is awesome though. It's like going back to the early/mid 80's, when the new wave movement was in full swing. One of the better retro albums of our time.

These Russian guys are brilliant. "Fire" is the top song on the album! Great Work!!!
With La Roux and Miike Snow, Tesla is the third best thing that happened it the past year.

Was blown away by these guys when the EP came out and now the wait for their LP is finally over. Tesla Boy is the music world's best kept secret and not for long!!! They have that nostalgic touch but infuse it with new melodies. Surely the best electro/pop band since the 80's.

These guys will and should make it huge. I would give my left kidney to see them play here in America, and I know my boyfriend would to. They are hot, hip, clean and the grooves just don't let you stop dancing. The complete album is amazing begining to end. Worth every song, every dollar this album is a MUST HAVE for any music junkie or hipster.
