I purchasd this album when if first came out years ago, and now, I've fallen back in love with it. I don't think I listened to it before... I mean REALLY listened. The poetry in the lyrics transverses intriguing places, both light and dark. And the allure of the harmonies, along with the crisp production of the instrumentation, takes us there. Subcounscious feels like it comes from the healing heart of a woman... a woman who wants (and needs) to share her musings about life and love in its purest forms of beauty and pain. It's a sonic journey I enjoy taking again and again.

I have never heard of Samantha James. I just stumbled upon the album cut from it on Internet radio. Decide to listen to the album to see what it sounded like. I could not have been more amazed. Her album has 13 cuts all of them are good. Well worth the 10 bucks!
