Awesome musician!!! And even better song writer. A must see live. This cd doesn't do him justice. I'm ready for a live version of all his songs

Sean McConnell may be the best artist that most people have never heard. His latest album is a collection of heat felt songs that speaks to the human condition. His lyrics, his delivery, his voice are all heart pulling and healing. It is so good to know that great music is still being made and played across our land. He is the real deal. He sounds the same live as he does on his recordings. This is not studio manipulated tracks. If you love tunes with words...buy this album, you won't regret it.

I've been to four of his shows this year and love the music so much. By far "Maybe You Can Love Me Anyway" is still my favorite song, but all of his music has so much feeling behind it. Buy the album and enjoy!

Wow! This CD completely blew me away. This is some of the best songwriting anywhere in the world. Sean portrays the whole spectrum of human emotion in such a poignant manner. This CD will move you, it will make you think, it will lift you up, it will break your heart, but most of all it will leave you with a sense of wanting more out of life, love, and God and teach you to live life to the fullest despite the heartaches and missteps along the way. I'm glad to see the Texas Country scene embracing this music and this message. Musically, this album is brilliant as well, it has its catchy songs, its melodic songs and one of the best voices to come around in a while delivered with more soul and passion than many of his peers. Keep an eye on this guy, great things are still to come.

Another great attempt by Mr. McConnell. As always by Sean, these songs are honest, strait forward, and heartfelt. If you want a great collection of love (and hurt) songs I suggest this album...and anything else with name Sean McConnell on it.
  • Four stars

I had to give it four stars only because as a fan of Sean's music and having his past CD's and hearing the original versions of a few of these songs that are on those i was hoping for a completely new album, instead of a few older songs thrown on here that have been slightly reworked. If you are new to Sean's music then you might be ablt to give this five stars as Sean is probably the best song writer out there who happens to have a foot (maybe two) in the Texas music scene. Highly recommend seeing his live show if you can.
