Quiet - EP

OH. MY. GOD. This is definitely my new obsession. Gavin's voice is absolutely perfect and so warm and comforting that I just want to listen to this over and over.

what an amazing ep. i'm totally in love with his voice and i can't believe how good this cd is. Totally worth buying. I keep listening to it constantly.

Gavin's voice is like a lullabye. This album needs 10 more songs, anything with Gavin's songs and voice can never be enough music! Lisa

Gavin Creel is one of the most amazing talents to hit Broadway and the rest of the world. His voice is pure gold and very unique all on it's own. And not only is he talented but he is the most generous, caring , friendly and genuine down to earth person. He has changed my life and I will always be grateful to have had the honor to meet him several times.

As much as I love the jams on "Goodtimenation" (and I still blast them on the regular), Gavin really shines on these six lovely, tender tracks. His voice is meant to tell heartfelt stories, and he really delivers here. I've been a long-time fan since his days in "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and "La Cage aux Folles." He is a fantastic presence on stage, but has no trouble translating to recording. This sweet little package of songs is a very welcome change of pace - particularly in a summer full of sub-par bubblegum pop. My only complaint: I want more! I suppose if I have to wait for something as good as this EP, I'll stick it out. Keep making beautiful music, Gavin!

Gavin Creel is a gifted artist with immense, creative talents! His voice is incredibly pure and pleasing to the ear. His delivery is smooth and technically perfect. Gavin's songs always deliver a meaningful message sung in such a way that they create a clear, powerful image. I am anxiously awaiting his next musical creations. This album is a must purchase!!

Gavin Creel never fails in regards to his music and his spotless vocals. This new EP, "Quiet", has to be my favorite release of his to date. The acoustic, au natural feel of the songs has any listener swaying in time to the melodies of "Hot Ohio" or "Green To Grey". It is relaxing, unique, and totally "Gavin". Truly an artistic compilation, this album is WELL WORTH the buy. It had this listener jumping up and down begging for more music from Gavin! Hopefully this is the prequel to a new full CD....I have my fingers crossed :)

Gavin Creel has one of the most beautiful male voices I've ever heard. And while the Broadway cast recordings he's participated in are great, this is a whole other flavor of singing. It's soulfoul and mellow and simple. The perfect album for those quiet summer evenings.
