This album is tight!!! Thats the best word for it. Its gritty, St. Louis style hip hop with strong rap verses and dope beats all the way through! All the songs are bangers and this album is perfect for riding down the street with the volume up.

I have never bought a whole album on iTunes (although I almost bought "Rebel" by Lecrae.) However, I am pretty sure once I get $9.99 on iTunes, I am buying City Lights. I will be happy to bump this WHOLE album, windows down, on the freeway, at red lights, and wherever there are people who are ready to hear the good news of Christ in an attractive format. Hottest Christian rap album on the market. Godly lyrics, inspiring message, and the same energy as secular hip-hop.

This cat just keeps moving forward in Jesus name. I remember hearing him for the first time thinking he had a lot of work to do, but my man Json managed to drop the hottest Holy Hip Hop album of 2010 so far. Trust me, I've bought all of the mainstream cats and this is the hottest by a long shot. His story telling is the most impressive aspect of the CD. "Unexpected Happenings" is my favorite and the most touching song on this album, I think that song hits everybody in one way or another. Buy this album. Your "City Light" will shine that much brighter because of it.
