StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty (Soundtrack)

Gotta say this is one of my favorite games, I remember buying it back in 2010 and coming home and playing on a crappy laptop. 5 years later I'm playing on a better laptop and I'm waiting anxiously for legacy of the void. Great soundtrack throughout the series. Hopeful they'll continue the series down the line here with a star craft 3 if love to see this series continue after Warcraft 4 hinted by blizzard this last week or 2. They basically said they'd think about it after star craft 2 is finished game wise meaning the release of LotV. Great thanks to Blizzard for a great game series so far hopeful you'll continue star craft in the future.

This is brilliant. Completely brilliant. Call me a nerd if you will, but if THIS means being a nerd, it is completely worth it! I love all the songs on here-now I want to go play starcraft :3 The Hive always gets me pumped up before a campaign mission, I love it!

The person that wrote a five paragraph essay maybe wrote a little overkill, but I agree solidly. I have loved soundtracks more than any other type of music, and though my friends ridicule me, I will stand by that statement. This is a soundtrack that has surpassed many, many others. I look forward to Blizzard's other Starcraft soundtracks.

Blizzard, your music is on an epicness level par with John Williams.

I have been a StarCraft fan since the 90's. And after beating the Expansion Brood Wars, and after the release of WarCraft III, I was beginning to wonder, if we'd see a sequel. Years went by, and I'm sure we were beginning to wonder if we'd see a sequel in our lifetime. Especially with Blizzard focusing on World of WarCraft (Which kind of failed in my eyes.). Well, I guess 12 years is the magic number. As soon as the game was announced, joy I have not felt in ages jumped back into me. All you WarCraft lovers can say StarCraft will forever be WarCraft in space, I will just say go back to your laptop and marry your Orc bride. StarCraft is unlike anything WarCraft will ever be. Seeing the trailer was a thing to remember. The music as Tychus is being fitted into his armor, is just phenomenal. And as I heard that, I had high expectations for the soundtrack for StarCraft II. And as I began hearing more music, I just kept getting blown away. The opening track, the first time I heard it, nearly brought me to tears. The familiar opening melody is just too epic for words. The horns, strings, choir vocals, and just the tempo, dynamics, and flashback melodies to the first game are nerve-racking. Amazing. And if the game's soundtrack isn't enough, the faction's title pieces, (Heaven's Devils [Terran], Firstborn [Protoss], and The Hive [Zerg]) are all very much amazing pieces. I have always favored Terran music. There is not enough room on this for me to clearly describe how awesome a soundtrack this really is. The replaying themes you sometimes hear are just so beautiful, and the variety in sound that the soundtrack has is just plain awesome. A must have for the StarCraft fanbase. Now I can only wonder how Heart of the Swarm and Into the Void will sound. If it is anything like this, I'm sure we fans have nothing to worry about.
