The Hooters were one of those bands that never got the attention it deserved. Initially taken to be a new wave band they actually brought an original sound to pop rock. While their biggest hit, "And We Danced" shot them up the charts they were never to see that popularity again even though they deserved it. I hate breaking down records song by song, but if you listen to the previews you are able to hear diversity at its best, and each song can lure you in. There wasn't one radio hit on this album, but there could have been many. I bought this CD back in 1992 after hearing the track "There's Always a Place". That song has a very special place in my heart and ironically that's exactly what the song is about. Always having a place or time you can go that reminds you of the good times. I heard that song during a very dark time in my life and in a way it made me look at life in an entirely different way. The rest of the CD is full of uplifting and good ol' fun rock-n-roll. This is one of those CD's you put on, press play and just let it go from beginning to end and then repeat. Of all the Hooters albums it is easily my favorite. Buy the whole thing, you won't regret it.
