I love everything about this album. Carolyn is one of the best songwriters in Nashville because her songs speak to your heart and mind. Each song on "Love Rules "takes the listener on a journey from joy to heartache to excitement to sadness. She leaves you wanting more with her beautiful voice and inspiring lyrics. This is the best album from Carolyn and it is worth a listen because I can guarantee you will fall in love with her music. Check out Stop For Me and The Whole Thing…leaves an instant smile on your face.

I've been a CDJ fan since the get-go. Although I have loved all her albums, it seems she has come full circle. Room With A View seemed like a very personal project, but merged with a mainstream feel/sound. Dress Rehearsal seemed to let go a lot of the personal feel for a focus on the mainstream. To the opposite end of the spectrum, Love & Negotiation seemed to let go of a mainstream appeal with a focus on a personal feeling. Back where we began...the best place.... The perfect merger of the two. This project touches on every different emotion. The lyrics, production, music, and of course vocals, are spot-on. Great new effort from an awesome artist.

As a person who is not easily impressed I am so glad to have found Carolyn Dawn Johnson's music tonight. Good tunes, great voice with lots of sas. Sure this album has been made for the country mainstream but that doesn't take away from the whit of the words or the slice of spice this country girl has got. I bought four songs off this album and I am more than happy to pay for someone who knows who she is and what she has got. This is one great singer and one amazing album. So glad that I looked at the What is New section on iTunes or I would have missed country's new star. Good luck to you, Carolyn. You deserve every wonderful thing that should be coming your way!
