    A-capella music started in the colleges of the Northeast, and many of the older colleges and universities (such as Vermont, where these guys are from) have well-established, top-notch groups. Saw these guys in concert in Burlington in the fall, they do a great job adapting and performing a variety of songs in a-capella style. A -capella isn't as easy as some think it is; these guys are very good at it. Definetely worth a listen, and if you are ever in Burlington and get a chance to see them, take the opportunity.

    The UVM Top Cats are at the top of their game in this new CD release. Great arrangements of some pretty diverse tunes, something for everyone to love. Their version of Heartbreak is my favorite, but honestly the entire album is great.
