  • Almost as good as a live show...

On Second Thought was one of the best local Denver bands; it's really too bad they are not together anymore. Their live shows were always incredible and a lot of fun. While this album doesn't come close to their live sound, it gives the listener a good taste of the band's musical talents and showcases some of their most popular songs. If you've never seen OST live, then their third album, Available in Fine Stores Everywhere, is probably a better introduction to their sound, but this album is great in its own right. If they ever get back together, don't miss a chance to see them live!

Their 2nd album, but 1st full length one (first was a 5 song EP). These guys' energy is awesome. Even having lost their rhythm guitarist, this album takes up the music and songwriting to a different level, with singer lead singer Damon taking a hand in some of the songwriting. I have always thought that OST sounded best live. Their energy and enthusiasm is hard to match, and the crowd ends up dancin' the night away. IMO, their 3rd album, "Available in Fine Stores Everywhere", is the best one, and gets closest to their live sound. But get this and you won't be disappointed by any song. Especially Space, Wait Up, Smoke and Frantic.
