I bought this album in 1990 when I was 13.It still to this day is one of my favorites. This album also marks the debut of Barney greenway on vocals...this Album set a standard in grindcore that can never be matched.Every grindcore band you have heard up to this point more than likely used this albums musical style in some way shape or form to create their musical style.Get the original!!!buy this album now!

Suffer The Children is a classic(anyone who listens to real music would know that), but don't just buy that song. Buy the whole album and enjoy!

For all the infantile 'reviewers'- get a life. For all the serious readers- this record is a classic in the death metal and grindcore genres. Classic sound ala Morrissound studios in Tampa, FL, which helped define the sound of death metal in the early 90's. Classic Napalm Death sums this one up, where they bridged the gap between the two genres and emerged a Titan in both. Pure awesomeness!!!

I dont ussually like grindcore. This however, is quite good. Suffer the Children is simply an amazing song. And Grindcore is definetly a form of Death Metal. Napalm Death is obviously some sort of form of Death Metal (Grindcore) .

This band keeps hitting the beat freakin hard and freakin HEAVY! I saw them on this tour in '91 with Sick of It All, Sacred Reich, and Sepultura at the Channel in Boston Mass. This was my favorite band! If you like this, check out other Earache Records such as Terrorizer, and Bolt Thrower (Warmaster.) Napalm Death builds so much NRG into there "grooves", freakin HEAVY! Who needs guitar solos when you have a drummer and riffs like that? It's all about the heavy and thick groove.

I really haven't listened to this band a lot, and on this album, I've only listened to "Suffer the Children", which is good enough for a five star! I've listened to a bit of their earlier stuff also. Damn, I wish there were more bands that played fast.
  • Good stuff

I'm not a Napalm Death fan, but they do have good music. I listen to a WIDE range of music from Enya to Cannibal Corpse. It's all good. I don't feel that there are any BAD bands, but there are forms of music that I prefer not to listen to, such as rap. I won't diss their music because I don't listen to it, but I hope that genere dies out =P
