I've loved Poly since X-Ray Spex, and this new album is amazing. Youth did a wonderful job on it, and the two of them made a great songwriting team. I didn't even know Poly had passed away until the day I got the new album, which was two days later. What a shock! She has left us with a lasting legacy. I wish there was more to come.

You departed this world too soon, but you gifted us with one final treasure. Your voice was always a current of positive energy and joy and it's clearly evident on Generation Indigo. This album is a triumph of spirit; music with a positive message and catchy beats, Pop & New Wave with Rasta sprinkles. You may have left us but your music will live on to uplift the spirits of generations to come.

I was mid download this morning when I happened to see a post that Ploy had passed away. I spent today listening to Gen Indigo, and enjoyed the upbeat spirit. Poly true punk and excellent roll model. RIP

I was both incredibly sad to hear about the legendary Poly Styrene passing and incredibly elated to find that she has left another album for us to enjoy and remember her by. The music carries on her signature sound adding additional elements to bring the songs into 2011. Rock on Poly.
