If perfection exists in this world, it's gotta be Explosions In The Sky. All their songs are great, but Human Qualities is my favorite. I just lie down, close my eyes, and let my mind wonder to wherever it takes me.

Music that takes me to "another place." The world has its issues as we all know, when these guys are playing, it placates my mind and body. 'Let me back in' will always be my favorite on this album, but 'Be comfortable, creature' is right there with it.

Good. Sorta. Kinda. Ish. Get rid of the horrible stupid loops and new staticky style, and you got yourself a good, dandy album. Oh, and also, throw those fake electric drums in the trash. They're crap. It makes the music sound waaaay too treble-y and makes the album my least favorite. Toss the crummy electric drum set and get your old real ones back!

I purchased the earth is not a dead place and it was the beginning to an addiction of them. I find myself losing myself to the music in any mood I am in and now purchased take care. Truly an amazing album and can't wait for more!!!

I've been listening to this band for only a week or so. I think this album is magnificent.

This is an absolutely incredible album... I own all their other stuff, but for some unexplainable reason never purchased this one until this past weekend, almost two years later. I could never tell you why I never did, but I'm almost glad now... after seeing so much terrible music seeping out week after week, this was a breath of fresh air. I believe I have already listened to the entire album a minimum of 15 times... My only complaint is that it isn't longer, because I love every bit of it... the HD video for Postcard from 1952 is equally incredible, if you haven't seen it.

I was never into instrumentals but now i have found the perfect band to write to. I hit play and its almost as if they wrote the soundtrack to my book. Do NOT buy one album unless you are ready to buy them all! VERY ADDICTIVE!

This album is absolutely breathtaking!! If your already a fan of eits, i wouldn't hesitate buying this! I'm extremely stoked that i finally got the money to buy it!!! By the way, it is well worth buying the whole album just for "Let me back in".

I saw Explosions live when they opened for Smashing Pumpkins in 2007 and they blew my mind! I have been a fan since and this new album has held true to what they have done in the past. Bravo guys and keep up the great work. I will always be a fan
