This album is unbeatable. No matter how much I listen to it, it never gets old. The music is not only catchy, but technically superior and richly composed.

Eowyn brings to light a side of herself and many other Christians, as well as a universal connection with emotions and music that simply move the spirit to a higher place with God. Sometimes the 100% upbeat message of contemporary Christianity is false because not every aspect of being in Christ is a "bed of roses." Her music is stirring and the combination of heavy metal with electronica is fantastic, as is her vocal ability and range across her newest album. Just awesome, a must have for hard-rocking Christians and seekers.

Coming from an album that bordered with the likes of Evanescence and Lacuna Coil, Beautiful Ashes took the direction of Eowyn's previous release Beautiful Ashes and cranked up the metal guitars to 11 and the programming to full. Tracks like the ferocious "You Saved Me" to the electronic-inspired ballad "More Than Yesterday" has the female vocalist stretching the boundaries of genres. The pearl of the group has to be "All I Need" which brings elements of not only the aforementioned bands but adds a bit of Nightwish and We Are The Fallen. Travis Wyrick (Pillar, Desciple, Since October) has done a nice job of bringing out the vocals with the gritty metal and orchestral scores.

Eowyn is back and hope she is here to stay. By far this is her best album to date. A sound as unique as her name, this is a must have for any fan of rock, faith, and all inspiring hope.

I love Eowyn's sound! Her music is rock, but its very unique and fun. The best part is that she points you towards the Lord through her songs and that is very encouraging. "You Had To", "Beautiful Ashes", "Fail Safe", "Dream" , and "All I Need" are some of the standout songs, but the whole album is worth buying. Thank you Eowyn for making music that shows your love for God and that is fresh and interesting to listen to!!
