    I have loved Sibelius’ works since long time ago, and more if it’s Osmo Vänskä’s version. This album is the best one I’ve encountered that compiles his masterpieces. Absolutely recommended!

    I honestly cannot believe you can buy 8 solid hours of Sibelius (conducted by arguably the best Sibelius interpreter alongside Sir Colin Davis) for $10. This should technically cost $70-$80. I love every minute of this album—Osmo makes Sibelius sound so natural and organic. My only (tiny) complaints are that the volume level is significantly below the “normalized” level, and there are unusually long stints of silence at the beginning/end of each track. But again, I wouldn’t think twice about buying it even knowing this beforehand. This album is worth its weight in gold…get it while you can!!!

    This is a quite good collection of the symphonies . I found the sound quality quite acceptable. The recording of the violin concert is excellent.

    This is perhaps the best of all the Sibelius Symphony cycles out there. Osmo Vanska is one of the best living conductors who helped the Lahti Symphony become something incredible, and he's currently doing the same thing with the Minnesota Orchestra. For only ten dollars, you absolutely can not do better!
