Just because it is not Buddy Holly does not mean the music is bad. Tracks 3, 4, 8 and 10 are by Jerry Jackson - at least tat is who it sonds like to me. All of the rest are my the most prolific and underrated musician in the field - Sonny Custis. Just for the record, Sonny is a far superior guitarist to Buddy Holly and his catalogue of his songs is legendary. Sonny wrote (among many, many others):I Fought The Law, Rock Around With Ollie Vee, Walk Right Back, A Fool Never Learns, The Real Buddy Holly Story and on and on . . So, far from being ripped off you have the opportunity to hear the Meadow Flash at his best. Sincerely, Joe Westbrook
