Looks good on paper. Doesn't sound that great on vinyl. Big departure from the days when these gals were original and ahead of the curve.

These gals ROCK! Reminds me of the old days: Led Zep, Stones, Beatles, Nirvana and Grand Funk to name but a few. I really can't believe that they're so good!

Hooks and wailing guitars! Top 3 album of 2011. Saw them in Brooklyn with Kurt Vile and Sonic Youth and they dominated!!

This is it. The guitar solo is reborn. Rock isn't dead. Carrie Brownstein and crew have saved rock and roll. Every song is a sonic orgasm. It is a must have for those that love guitar, grunge and pop blended into deconstructed rock (un)trope perfection. This is love baby.

Ladies and gentleman, I would like to re-introduce you to the rock guitar! This album is filled with it and makes no effort in turning it down. It's loud, obnoxious, in your face and filled with ferocity that can only be found in Wild Flag. Ever since the creation of this band was announced I had been waiting anxiously for this album and I was not let down in the slightest. Great album, great sound, great guitar. Just what I needed.

Amazing. Simply amazing. Sleater-Kinney has always been a great band. Helium's Mary Timony has always been a great artisit. Rebecca Cole's keyboards have always kept my attention. Combining their talents has resulted in a masterpiece of music. I would love to single out any one or two songs. Unfortunately, I cannot. They are ALL fantastic. Wonderful driving, forceful music with relevant lyrics; just what would be expected from any of them individually. Collectively, an absolute must-have. Purchase it now.
