I've been listening to this band for years. These tracks all bring back so many memories. Always felt they never got the credit they deserved...its an old story. Take a listen..you won't be disappointed.

This brings back so many great memories of this band and their talent. Wish there were a few more of my favorites on this album. I will Purchase those as well! I like the live versions mixed in because I have so many memories seeing them live. So glad to rediscover my Bodeans!

Longtime fans of any band are bound to be disappointed when a "best of" collection inevitably doesn't line up with their personal favorites. I've heard some fans complain about the abundance of live tracks on this compilation. Putting fan preference aside, this is a great way to get into the BoDeans. Although there are many tracks that I wish could've been included (namely "Good Work", "Dreams", "Hurt By Love", and "Angels"), there is nothing on here that shouldn't be. Every song is an example of their best work, and the live tracks demonstrate how their music truly comes alive onstage. The chronological ordering really shows their artistic growth over the years. Buy this record and help out a band that should've been a lot more popular had the music industry gained any sense! If you like it, grab Joe Dirt Car as well.
