The recordings in this album and all other volumes in this series are SERIOUSLY FLAWED: there is a constant high-pitched "chirping" sound in most of them. Might this be tied to the audio compression? This is not present in offerings on other online stores. I take this back. On further listening, and on the subsequent feedback from other reviewers, it would appear to be a deliberate effect. Apart from my personal preference for this effect, I would rate the other aspects pretty high.

Heard one song on a T V music station. Checked it out on iTunes. Bought all three and we both love his style. The sound is exquisite.

I believe what the other reviewer is making reference to is a uniquely Alain Morisod arrangement. I believe it was purposely added to some of the songs to simulate the wind passing thru leaves or water falling over rocks. It is evident in some arrangements but not others. The unique sound is present in these recordings when heard over XM broakcast, therefore, it is not related to ITunes compression. Shut you eyes and picture yourself by a brook ... it works for me! But if it is displeasing to you ... by all means .... don't download or listen!
