  • The first ambient album?

The first ambient or new age album? Probably. This is a very simple record. Just a single musician, at times accompanied by the voice of a guard. The acoustics inside the Taj Mahal are beautiful. Natural reverb! Very beautiful, perhaps melancholy as well. Fans of Harold Budd or Jon Hassell will be right at home. Highly recommended.
