They really have 0 hits. This is just songs they want to repackage and sell to their dumb fans. Sad. Trailer park anthems for lame people.
  • Look to the first album first

I mainly bought this album for Policy of Truth and the live version of Everything to Lose. I figure that was worth the $4 on it's own, so the re-recordings seem like a bonus to me. Just a different version of the original songs. If you haven't bought their first CD, DO NOT BUY THIS ALBUM FIRST! Most of the songs on here are from their debut album, so if you're buying this for those songs, just buy the original. If you're in a position like me though, to where you only bought for Policy of Truth and Everything to Lose, it's a fine CD. That's only if you're thinking of the re-recordings as a bonus. Still, I see $4 as a steal, so it works for me. Just depends on what you're looking for.

Great review from "Anything but" he said all that's needed to say in a review for this
  • I think I know why they decided to re-record

I was wondering why they would re-record the old songs off of their self-titled album. Then I read that they got a new guitarist so that must be the reason they decided to go back and re-record. I think it was a good idea but the end result is just song with less energy, over-polished, and with less tempo. The originals are amazing though, along with Trapt's new cd 'Reborn' that's coming out this month!

They should've never re-recorded. The originals are amazing, nothing can beat them

At first, I though it was an iTunes mistake that all the songs said "Re-Recorded" but it's not. These songs lack the amount of energy that is found in the originals. I can't quite put my finger on why they would do this or what made them decided to re-record their best songs and tone them down… Just buy the first cd if you haven't already (that's where 95% of these songs came from anyways).

sure its ok for the money and i have loved this band since headstrong hit the radio but you cant call this a greatest hits. for one all the songs are from the first album except for the acoustic version of headstrong, policy of truth, and everything to lose. second these are all the re-recorded versions and personally i dont like them, they dont have the same feel as that explosive debute album they had. my suggestions are to go out and buy the CDs all of the are OUTSTANDING except for only through the pain. sorry, this album has some good songs but most are really soft and dont have the same feel as all the other albums.
