5 stars. Stands the test of 11 years. If you gave this less than 5 stars, go home and think about what you've done.

I just picked this up dispute the fact that it's been out for 10 years. Great album. Even on the first listen most of the song seem very familiar, but in a good way. I can't think of the last time I bought an album that I could listen to and enjoy start to finish on the first hearing.

This was my first ever album I ever have bought. I kept it in my playlist for many years now. I can't stop coming back to this as it's an astonishing tune that i can't stop coming back to.

This should be looked at beyond the constraints of an indie album; this is a masterpiece. Frickin' insane drumming and awesome guitar work! So tight. i love it. It's the last album i like by this band, though.

- Bloc Party - A Great Alternative Band

I first discovered bloc party in guitar hero with the song Helicopter. Since then I have been listening to this band for so long. If you like alternative songs, this is a very good album to listen to. My personal favorites are Helicopter (of course), Banquet, Like Eating Glass, The Pioneers, and She's Hearing Voices. And all the rest are pretty good too. If you even just like a couple of these songs, listen to the rest of them because they are good. ( If you like some of my favorites, check out Hunting For Witches in Bloc Party's A Weekend In The City Album).
