Better than TT's freshman album. Most reviewers crying for the old days are simply unable to accept change. In other words, they just want the same songs repackaged every year.

I wanted to like this album. I truly did. I absolutely love the first but I can't even recognize his voice. It just doesn't sound like the original Temper Trap.

I am not a religious person, but hearing this album - Trembling Hands in particular - was the closest to a religious experience I've had. That voice! Transcendent. Gorgeous. Pure. Just wow.

I just bought this album and love the way TT has changed their style and mood for this new set. I highly recommend getting this album. If you're being swayed by some of the negative reviews posted here, remember one important thing. Bands diversify their sound to improve and experiment. It makes them better, something that many fans shouldn't look down on. If you loved The Temper Trap's first album, Conditions, you'll enjoy this. If you're a big-time fan, you should appreciate the effort on their part to create something new, an album that is less somber but still has a similar feel to Conditions.

This album is a steaming pile of poop. Its nothing but corny power ballads dolled up as U2-ish stadium anthems. These lyrics would even have Brett Michaels rolling his eyes
  • Such an amazing album!
