- Close to calling this a gem

I am one of those guys who's always looking for underground music. This band has always popped up here and there. An Adult Swim mix included them, I think (THINK) Tim Harrington was a guest performer during a Mars Volta show back in 2002 which is a band that I follow a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if Tim played during a Mars Volta concert, Les Savy Fav sounds a lot like At the Drive In. Anyways, I really like this album. The songs are recognizably different and the weird experimental-punk genre is well-aimed. I don't think I can call this album a "gem" though, cuz a gem in MY book is a band that VERY few people have heard... but these guys are still well under the radar.

The reviewer for this album is a fool: Les Savy Fav, emo? Obivously iTunes wasn't paying attention on this one. The reviewer gets 0/5 stars for his/her embarassing mistake; the album itself gets 5/5 stars for being brilliant.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best albums ever released. It's just amazing beyond words. I'd buy it if it only contained "We've Got Boxes" and "Who Rocks The Party", but throw in the rest of the tracks and you'd be a fool not to pick it up.
That is all.
Wake up.
I'm coming over.

This album is one of my favorite albums and is amazingly unique. I especially like the song Dishonest Don part II

I have a soft spot for New York Bands, and Les Savy Fav is no exception. The album is centered, but not mediocre. The music is gnashed, and melodic - An awsome mix.
