I saw Sarah perform at Layla's on Broadway and she was excellent. She performed for hours...original songs and plenty of great old classics. I couldn't resist buying the cd directly from her during a break. This is REAL country music in the Nashville tradition.

Sarah's voice has entranced me for years - no, seriously. She sings with a passion I don't even know if I can properly characterize. She's just that good. With this album, she brings what modern country SHOULD be. Cues from Bakersfield style Buck Owens honky tonk amped up to 11 with an incredible voice describes this best, methinks.

Very few albums from any decade or genre can pull off an amazing record from beginning to end and "One Good Thing" does it. Sarah Gayle Meech is comparable to the greats of country music's past. In a day and age when so-called country is overpopulated with diluted clones, it's fantastic to be able to get some real honky tonk straight out of Nashville. One Good Thing is a well-balanced set of bluesy country rock that also includes some whopper ballads and songs that could kick some serious mainstream radio tail, all without compromise.
If you enjoy original classic, fun music, you've found in with Sarah Gayle Meech. I've played the CD over and over only to find myself signing, top'n and hitting repeat. Well worth the $10 my friends.
