    I previewed this collection because of the lead track, "Make a Deal With the City" which I LOVED! But in listening to the balance of this album, I found it to be repetitive...each track was MOS (more of the same). I wouldn't buy the collection but would keep a couple of tracks and MDWC is a truly beautiful song with gorgeous chord progressions!

    "Poor Fricky" is the best East River Pipe album proper, but song-for-song, nothing matches this singles collection. These are The Best Singles Ever...or at least most of them. Pure lo-fi pop majesty, full of feeling from someone who's lived in the streets and lost everything. Unpretentious, charming, supremely tuneful, crushing, and life-affirming all at once. You will immediately fall in love with "Make a Deal with the City"...and that's just the start. I promise!
