Jupiter Coyote is one of the most under appreciated bands. These guys are merciless when they play live and the level of musicianship is, frankly, superior to their peers. John Felty is one of the most original slide guitarists ever. This is their first studio effort, though not their best. I like all of the songs on this album, with the exception of ship in the bottle, which for me is a little corny. However, this is a set of tracks worth having. I would suggest you view the JC catalog and pick the live versions of any of these. The fact that they gave up before they made it huge is really somewhat of a tragedy. Although they were never really good showmen, their music on stage was always fantastic. Amazing musicians on stage, but not entertainers. You could go to one of their shows, close your eyes and have the same experience.

Great Jam Album...JC has never gotten the press of some of the bigger Jam bands of today, but this is a good ole album for the boys from Brevard.

10 or so more years later, and your music naturally fits right in! Wow! I loved you then, but Really love the sound now!
