Are you kidding me??? If you like hip hop and/or R&B, and don't pigeonhole your taste into rejecting genre-crossing, you are in for a rare treat. As a huge fan of both genres, I already owned the original version of every single one of these songs. Can You Stand the Rain is my wife's favorite song of all time. Black and Yellow was one of my favorites on the album. This guy put's a spin on the tracks that I never expected...without simply offering a "string" version of them. Love it...much appreciation...please tell me there is more by this guy!

i love the tracks, honestly.
but in "because of you," i find this one percussion sound right before the 4th beat to be distracting. i thought it was coming from somewhere else when i first heard it.

I just saw Josh live at the Catalina Jazz Festival last weekend. I was blown away by his performance. This album only scratches the surface of his artistry. I can't wait to hear more from this guy!
