Highly recommend anything by Lazlo Bane. Loved Guilty Pleasures (the 70's version) and this one is just as good. As a hair metal guy growing up in the 80s I hope volume 2 might include a little Twisted Sister or Mötley Crüe.

A great celebration of some of the best songs of the 80's. It helps too that they are GREAT versions! "Don't Change" is a personal favorite, with "Hold Me Now" in a close 2nd - but they are all great. Enjoy!!

For crying out loud, why did we do another covers album?! Are we really all out of original ideas? Are we gearing up for next spring's wedding season? Are we still allowed to review our own albums? (well, then 5 stars it is) Over the last couple of years, people have been asking us to cover more songs for film, tv and yes, even weddings. Many just happened to be from the 80's. Are we finished with being the worlds greatest cover band? Can we finally get back to the business of writing new songs? Just as soon as we finish Guilty Pleasures of the 60's, 50's, 40's, and yes, 90's. That's when we start covering ourselves and messing with the space-time continuum. -Lazlo Bane
