Wow, what a great album. Yes, we've heard it before, but not like this. The 80s version has been cleaned up, it sounds brand new and fresh.

I'm sure I was the first one on my block to own and appreciate the talent and uniqueness of Mannheim Steamroller back in the day. However, it is the synthesizers and electronics, combined with the classical instruments that makes them so unique and appealing, and that's what is missing on this album, making it a "run of the mill" Christmas album. Stick with the Boston Pops, Percy Faith, or the classical Christmas section, for straight instrumental Christmas music.

I also love the live orchestral taking precedence over the synth sounds. These arrangements will always be classics, yet they never fail to excite and move me more than any other Christmas music. Thanks, MS!

I have always loved M.S. and this new sound is very clean and clear, it is refreshing. I went back and compared it to albums from the past that I adored and I find I'm ready for the sound to be more orchestral. Thanks for the change!

I know, I know....the same songs. BUT, I like the "new" sound, taking out most of the synths and using all orchestra instruments. Gives the old a new fresh sound. If you're a fan, you will enjoy this album.
